Q. How on Earth can bamboo fabric
be so soft when bamboo is so hard?
A. The raw material bamboo is put through a process of compression and
the fibres are made into yarn, which then is made into fabric through
processes only understood by crazy scientists and possibly the silkworm.
Bamboo fibres are round on the surface at a microscopic level, which
is what makes it so incredibly soft and silky.
Q. Can I pop your products in the washing machine?
A. Yes. We realize that hand-washing is not every woman’s dream.
Or man’s for that matter!
Since bamboo is a natural fibre it asks for gentle care, wash on cold
(or warm if heavily soiled but cold is better for Mother Earth) and use
mild detergents. There are some great earth friendly brands out in the
shops now that don’t skimp on power. Try “Earth Choice” brand in
Australia which smells great.
Your bamboo garments can be tumbled on warm but hangs beautifully on the
line, resulting in less need for ironing and more savings on your power bill.
We discourage you from using fabric softener, as all it
does is coat your clothing with chemicals!
An organic alternative is to put half a cup of normal every-day white
vinegar in the softener compartment of your washing machine with a few
drops of essential oil, lavender or rose are yummy smelling oils to try.
If you don’t like using essential oils you can just use the vinegar, it
won’t leave a smell either way. The vinegar acts as a neutralizer because
of its acidity (the washing detergent is alkaline), thus leaving your
clothes soft without chemicals.
Don't use bleach or wash in hot water and you
will enjoy your bamboo products for longer!

A. We strive to leave a nearly invisible footprint.
Our vision is to reduce the impact that fabric production is having on
the planet by providing quality products using sustainable resources.
We aim to educate people about their impact on the environment and the
little things they can do every day to help Mother Earth.
We want to reduce humanity’s impact on the planet and the avenue we’ve
chosen is clothing and fabric items. We want to get involved, and we
want you to come too!

Q. What is your return policy?
A. At Kassiopeja we want you to be a happy camper.
That is why we will gladly replace or refund you for any
defective items you wish to return.
If you're unsatisfied with the fit, quality, colour, or
size of an item you may return it and choose an item in
another size or colour.
Please note the following:
• Item must be returned within 14 days from date of purchase.
• Items that have been laundered or altered in any way cannot
be accepted for exchange or return.
If you wish to exchange or return an item for any reason you are
responsible for return shipping charges, but we will ship you a
replacement item with no additional shipping charge.
Example:
• You want a different size/colour
• You decide you no longer want the item
How to go about it:
1. Place the items you wish to return in a box or envelope.
Please include a copy of the original invoice.
2. If applicable, indicate the style, colour, and size of your desired replacement item(s).
3. Please explain on a piece of paper why you’re not happy!
You are responsible for return shipping charges.
We recommend you use priority mail or a carrier that provides tracking.
Kassiopeja is not responsible for lost shipments.
If the mistake is ours, we will take care of all shipping charges
and either replace the item or refund your payment according to your wishes.
Example:
• The item does not match the style, size, or colour you ordered.
• The item is defective in any way.
How to go about it:
1. E-mail us at sales@kassiopeja.com
2. We will assist you with return shipping.
(Remember to include the original invoice!)
Depending on if you request a replacement or refund we either
· Send you the replacement once the returned item is received
Or
· Credit your account with the cost of the item once the returned item is received.
(Less the cost of shipping and discounts if applicable)
Please allow 4 weeks for processing.
Q. What about postage and shipping?
A. Within Australia:
We aim to process, pack and dispatch your order as
soon as possible – usually the next business day.
Orders can be delivered to you or to a gift recipient
and we use Australia Parcel Post for all orders.
Please leave us a message with your order with any
special requirements and we will get back to you.
Delivery is usually less than 7 business days
within Australia.
While we pack all orders securely and with care,
we cannot be responsible for the loss or damage
of products during the delivery process of
Australian and international orders.
International orders:
We are more than happy to accept orders from countries outside Australia!
Please note though that all our prices are in Australian dollars so
please refer to www.xe.com for a guide to your currency conversion.

will get back to you with shipping costs, you will have the option of
modifying or cancelling your order if you're not satisfied.
International delivery may take up to 2-3 weeks, depending
on your location.
